Psalm 112

“He will not fear evil tidings; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord” (v7).  The Scripture describes the blessings of walking with God (v1).  Despite the chaos of life, being united with God gives us a deep sense of security, which drives away fear.  “Wealth and riches are in his house” (v3): far beyond the shallow pleasures of material things, this person enjoys the richness of a clean conscience, authentic relationships, and an eternal purpose. 

Those who “greatly delight” in the ways of God (v1) still experience trouble.  However, the light of His presence (v4) changes everything.
