Psalm 111

“Great are the works of the Lord; they are studied by all who delight in them” (v2).  We are formed by what we hear, what we see, and what we think about every day.  The psalmist said that those who delight in God’s works will “study” them.  His works include the stars and oceans and living things, and His works are also “truth and justice” (v7).  He “sent redemption to His people” (v9).

Meditating on the beautiful, compassionate, and perfect works of our Creator cleanses our minds of pollution, and we begin to find wisdom (v10).
