Psalm 66

"We went through fire and through water; yet Thou didst bring us out into a place of abundance" (v12). Every child of God has a different story, but every story ends with God's faithfulness. In Ruth, Naomi's "fire and water" lasted most of her life, yet the end was joy. Sometimes the "oppressive burden" (v11) refines us as silver, preparing us, like Moses, for a great task. Sometimes, like Job, we can't see God's purposes, but we trust His love.

"I will tell you what He has done for my soul" (v16). God's love and mercy is our story to tell.
