Psalm 67

"God be gracious to us and bless us and cause His face to shine upon us" (v2). The Light of God glowed in the Old Testament tabernacle, signaling His presence. "God is light," says John, "and in Him there is no darkness at all" (1 John 1:5). Our world is filled with darkness, and we cannot generate healing, life-giving Light on our own. But in Christ, "light shines in the darkness" (v5).

"That Thy way may be known on the earth" (v2). The world is still dark. Our lives need to reflect the Light of Christ, drawing people to His healing love.
