Acts 16

“And when he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go into Macedonia” (v10).  Paul, Silas, Luke and the other early missionaries were firmly grounded in certain principles, such as “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved” (v31).   Beyond that, they listened to the Spirit as they entered certain cities and not others, chose to circumcise Timothy for cultural reasons, and at times insisted on their rights as Roman citizens (v37). 

No rule book exists for every situation in our lives.  But we can walk confidently, rooted in Christ and sensitive to the Spirit’s voice.
