Revelation 20-22

“And he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb” (22:1).  The descriptions of the “new heaven and earth” (ch 21) are the climax and resolution of all God’s promises, starting with Eden.  Everything wrong on earth began with our separation from God, giver of “the water of life.”  The new world will be both peaceful and productive because everything broken will be healed, and there will no longer be any curse (22:3; Zechariah 14:11).

As we live by grace – the water of life – right now, we are already citizens of the world to come.
