Psalm 64
"Then all men will fear and will declare the work of God and will consider what He has done" (v9). No one likes being vulnerable. The "dread of the enemy" and "the secret counsel of evildoers" overwhelmed the psalmist. He did not have the power to defend himself. He leaned on God's strength and confidently proclaimed, "But God will shoot at them with an arrow ..." (v7). When God intervenes, the world "will consider what He has done."
We'd rather be self-sufficient. However, our weakness is an opportunity for God to show Himself strong, to us and to those around us.
