Acts 26
“To open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God …” (v18). In court, Paul stated his case in uncompromising and universal terms. He declared that Jews and Gentiles were both under “the dominion of Satan” unless they repented and received forgiveness in Jesus’ name (23). Festus thought Paul was crazy, but Agrippa said, “In a short time you will persuade me to be a Christian” (v28).
Paul’s passion and persuasiveness came from seeing everyone equally: not as King or Governor or Jew or Gentile, but as humans in need of good news.
