Matthew 13

“But blessed are your eyes, because they see, and blessed are your ears, because they hear” (v16). Jesus taught His disciples that lasting faith and fruitfulness are the products of the interaction between the seed (the gospel) and the soil (the heart, v19). The good news is the same, and the intention of God to draw all humans to Himself is the same, but our responses may be different, and our responses may even change over our lifetime (v21-22).

Those who want more of God will find Him. He “is a rewarder of those who seek Him” (Heb 11:6).
