February 23: Matthew 15: 21-39

Matthew 15:21-39

“Where would we get so many loaves in a desolate place to satisfy such a great multitude?” (v33).  The disciples’ very practical question is similar to the ones we face every day.  Where can we get a new job in a terrible economy?  How we can help our children when the odds are against them?  How can we reconcile a relationship after years of bitterness?  Jesus calmly accepted the tiny resources offered Him, broke up the fish, and fed more than 4000 people.

Our “unsolvable problems” look very different in the hands of an all-powerful, loving, creative God.
