Matthew 10:1-23

“Freely you received, freely give” (v8). Jesus’ instructions to His disciples were simple: imitate Me. They had seen Him “heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons” (v8), and that is exactly what He charged them to do. They had seen Him trust the Father for everything (v9), and that is the way He told them to live. They saw Him suffer, and He warned that they would suffer, too (v17).

The more time we spend getting to know Jesus, the more we overflow with His Spirit: loving, serving, healing, and being willing to suffer for His name.
