January 13: Acts 18

Acts 18

"Do not be afraid any longer, but go on speaking and do not be silent; for I am with you ..." (v9). God had rescued Paul from many dangers. In Corinth, Paul had seen Crispus, leader of the synagogue, believe in Jesus with all his household. But God knew Paul was still afraid. Whatever the reason, God gave Paul this message of comfort: "do not be afraid any longer."

Fear can plague anyone, from new Christians to mature leaders. God's word is always, "Do not fear, I am with you."
