"It will be well" (4:23). The Shunammite woman was running to get the prophet's help in faith; she didn't know what would happen. However, her actions and words reveal a sense of desperation: she was determined to go as far as she could in her search. Nothing could stop her, and she didn't hold back her deepest feelings (v27-28). Elisha was moved by her sorrow, and her urgency became his urgency, to the extent that he laid his own body on top of her dead son.
Jesus encouraged us to ask, seek, and knock with persistence (Luke 11). The Father answers.
