Matthew 6
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself” (v33-34). The way we live our lives reflects what we really believe about God’s kingdom. If God is real, and heaven is real, then we won’t “practice our righteousness before men” (v1). We will seek to honor God with our hearts, not to win others’ approval.
We face a daily choice between fear and faith. If God is real, then anxiety is pointless, because we are held in His hands (v32).
