Revelation 22

“And he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb …” (v1-2). Both the water of life and the tree of life are symbols of the Life which is in Jesus Christ. Jesus told the Samaritan woman that He was the “living water” (John 4:10). The tree of life was in the Eden, but was hidden after humans sinned (Genesis 3:22-24).

God’s will for us is always Life. He created us, and only in fellowship with Him through Christ can our desires for love, joy, and peace be satisfied.
