Genesis 18-20

“Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do, since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation, and in him all the nations of the earth will be blessed?” (18:18). God allowed Abraham to understand His judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah, as well as His efforts to rescue Lot. For the sake of the world, Abraham was learning more about this God-Most-High who made covenants and demanded goodness. When God said something, it happened.

Abraham learned that whether we see His hand or not, whether we believe or not (Lot’s family ignored the warnings), God is at work, fulfilling His Word.
