Acts 24
“But this I admit to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect I do serve the God of our fathers” (v14). Paul shaped his sermons to his audience; in Ephesus, Jerusalem, and Athens he spoke in a way his listeners could best understand. Yet, however he adapted his words, he never compromised the uncomfortable truth. He was a follower of the Way, and this message was radical enough to “frighten” Felix the governor (v25).
God speaks through every language and culture on earth, but the world-changing truth is always the same: Jesus is the only Way to the Father.
