Isaiah 40-41

“Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these stars, the One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name” (40:26).  One small glimpse of God’s amazing greatness and power changes everything.  Hezekiah truly believed that the invisible Creator cared about Israel, and therefore he had faith to pray for help.  The “Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary” (v28). 

He is always attentive, always awake, always ready to hear our cry and respond.  He “gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power” (v29).
