Joshua 11-12

“I followed the Lord my God fully” (14:10).   Caleb, man of God, did not receive his inheritance until he was 85 years old.  He had been a spy at 45, part of the group sent to gather information about Canaan before the Israelites attacked.  The spies came back terrified, believing they had no chance of success.  But Caleb and Joshua believed God could give them the land.  45 years later, the Israelites had conquered much territory, and Caleb was still waiting for his inheritance.

Caleb endured for years without a reward, following God “fully,” trusting that His promises would one day be fulfilled.
