Matthew 24

“And you will be hated by all nations on account of My name” (v9).  Jesus knew that being unjustly accused and misunderstood is extremely painful.  This is not to be confused with legitimate criticism due to the moral failures of those who preach morality to others.  Jesus was talking about hatred and violence toward believers because they love Him.   This kind of pressure is hard to bear (v12), but suffering saints in many places, every day, stay true to Jesus.

Jesus asks for everything, even the willingness to risk our reputations to proclaim His love.
