Job 6-7
“But the night continues, and I am continually tossing until dawn” (7:4). These are the words of a man who has lost everything and cannot find comfort. Even at night, he was tormented with bad dreams and visions (v14). He felt that God was the cause of his misery, and “I will complain in the bitterness of my soul” (v11). Yet, for all his angry sorrow, Job said, “I have not denied the words of the Holy One” (6:10).
Anger, sadness, accusations – in a terrible time, Job was honest with God. His only hope was that the Creator, in whom he still believed, was listening.
