May 17: Mark 11:1-26

Mark 11:1-26

“All things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted to you” (v24).  Christians throughout the centuries have debated this passage.  Can we force doubt out of our hearts (v23)?  We know that trouble and persecution are part of a believers’ life (v30) – how do we pray?  “Have faith in God” (v22), Jesus said.  Not in our own prayers, knowledge or righteousness; but in God.

Focusing on ourselves (Satan’s deception) paralyzes our faith.  We are imperfect, but if we believe God is God - Creator, Redeemer, King - everything is possible.
