Psalm 96

“Let the sea roar, and all it contains; let the field exult, and all that is in it, then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy …” (v11-12). Nature, made by God, shows us how to worship Him. The creation is never still or silent – the waves crash, the birds sing, the planets spin, and everything constantly grows, moves, or works together for some purpose. Like the earth, we are to “tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among the peoples” (v3).

We can’t be still or keep silent, “for He is coming” (v13).
