Psalm 97

“Light is sown like seed for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart” (v11). Along with the beauty of physical creation all around us, God has “sown” light throughout the world. He doesn’t leave us to stumble in darkness, wondering how to differentiate between good and evil. God’s wisdom is available to us at every moment. “Righteousness and justice are the foundations of His throne,” (v2) and “all the people have seen His glory” (v6).

Through the Scriptures, the life of Jesus, and the ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit, the light of God’s truth permeates our lives.
