May 4: Mark 8: 1-26

Mark 8:1-26

“Where will anyone be able to find enough to satisfy these men with bread here in such a desolate place?” (v4).  The disciples sounded a lot like the Israelites in the wilderness.  In a “desolate place,” unpleasant, isolated and without resources, how can our needs be met?  The disciples looked around them and saw a multitude of hungry people.  They saw an insurmountable problem and felt helpless.

But the desolate place included Jesus, Son of God. With infinite resources and love, He fed them.
