Proverbs 24

"By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge it is filled with all precious and pleasant things" (v3-4). A life of wisdom takes time. We are redeemed in the moment we believe in Christ, but we grow in His wisdom over a lifetime. Knowing God's way is sweeter, more satisfying to the soul (v13-14), we begin to obey Him. Choices based on compassion (v11), fairness, truth, and hard work (v23-24) fill our lives with "precious and pleasant things."

"Rooted and grounded in love" (Eph 3:17), we have been given all we need to choose wisely.
