Jude
“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory with great joy …” (v24). Jude ended his letter with hope, though he began it with dire warnings. He urged believers to “contend earnestly for the faith,” because the alternative is to fall away and deny Christ. Those who only pretend to believe (v12) are “hidden reefs,” damaging everyone around them.
However, Jesus is able to keep us from stumbling, as we build ourselves up in the faith, pray in the Holy Spirit, and remain in the love of God (v20-21).
