Psalm 125
“Those who trust in the Lord are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever” (v1). Much of the time, we don’t feel like Mount Zion; instead, we feel rattled and shaken by life. But the psalmist said that reality is much better than our feelings: We are supported and surrounded by the Lord (v2). We are “in Christ,” and Christ is seated at the right hand of God. We are part of His body, His building, His family (Eph 1-2).
We don’t know what will happen tomorrow or next year. But we know we are part of an unshakeable kingdom (Heb 12).
