John 15:12-27

"This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you" (v12). Jesus' "simple" commandment has proved to be the most challenging for every generation of believers. However we explain the mystery of the Trinity, at its heart is this: "Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you" (v9). When we love one another, we are showing the world what God looks like.

"Greater love has no one that this ..." (v13). We are most like Christ when we give up our own rights or comfort for someone else's sake.
