Psalm 129 -130
“I wait for the Lord, my soul does wait, and in His Word do I hope” (130:5). The psalmist said that those who reject God are like grass on the rooftops; energy expended for no purposeful outcome (Ps 129). But his life was in the Creator’s hands, and he trusted in God’s lovingkindness and redemption. Sometimes we can’t clearly discern God’s purposes, and our own efforts may be tainted by selfish motives and sin. Yet we continue to hope, because “there is forgiveness with Thee” (v4) and a future.
