Psalm 49

"But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol ..." (v15).  Some people spend their lives investing in earthly wealth (naming property after themselves, v11), as if they will never die.   Believers invest their best efforts and time in their relationship with the eternal God.  We can work all hours of the day and earn money, but still not redeem ourselves or anyone else (v7-9). 

"... for He will receive me" (v15).  Death is inevitable, but not frightening for the believer.  The God who loves us now will love us forever.
