Judges 4-5

"Lord, when Thou didst go out from Seir, when Thou didst march from the field of Edom ..." 5:4).  Barak and his army, accompanied by Deborah the prophetess, attacked and defeated Sisera's army.  However, in Deborah's song, God marched, fought and won the battle.  Deborah sang, "that the leaders led in Israel, that the people volunteered, bless the Lord!" (v2).  Everyone did their part, and God went before them, and they were successful. 

Deborah warned Barak that a woman would get the honor in this battle (4:9).  Ultimately, as always, the real honor belonged to the Lord.
