Jeremiah 32-33
“And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me always, for their own good, and for the good of their children after them” (32:39). God described Israel’s rebellion as “they have turned their back to Me, and not their face” (v33). Turning their backs on God, they embraced all kinds of sin, including sacrificing their own children to idols (v35). But God promised that when they turned their faces to God again, He would heal them (33:6), “for the good of their children” (32:39).
Rejecting our Creator has terrible consequences. But His love is everlasting, and He brings us back (32:37).
