Isaiah 59-66
“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not so short that it cannot save … but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God” (59:1-2). From the beginning, our sins have separated us from the God who loves us. He spoke to and through people of faith through the ages, and at the right time, He sent a Redeemer to Zion (v20). Jesus came to “bring good news to the afflicted … to bind up the brokenhearted” (61:1).
Isaiah prophesied that the invisible Kingdom of love and power will one day become visible: “For behold, I create a Jerusalem for rejoicing” (65:18).
