II Thessalonians 1

“To this end also we pray for you always that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power” (1:12). Paul affirmed that the believers were called for a purpose. They had faith Jesus and were welcomed into God’s kingdom, and they wanted their lives to produce fruit. Paul prayed for them, because only the Holy Spirit in them could produce true goodness or “the work of faith with power.”

The same Loved that saved us is also transforming us into active, productive members of His kingdom.
