John 6:26-71

“And we have believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God” (v69).  Peter both believed and experienced – came to know – Jesus.  Jesus said He was “the bread of life,” and men and women must eat and drink of Him in order to have eternal life.  It wasn’t enough to admire His teaching or applaud His miracles.  Like Peter, Jesus’ followers had to go beyond acknowledgement.  They had to accept Jesus as their source of life.

Jesus isn’t an idea; He is a Person.  He gave His life for ours, so that we might know Him.
