John 9
"They brought to the Pharisees him who was formerly blind" (v13). Jesus healed a man born blind, and it caused a huge controversy. The man was questioned by his neighbors and by the religious leaders; even his parents were questioned. He grew bolder in his answers, realizing perhaps that the One the Pharisees rejected was more than a healer. "If this man were not from God, He could do nothing" (v33).
Jesus didn't just teach wonderful ideas. He healed the sick, providing concrete proof of His love and power. He still does.
