J. Lowell Harrup, Senior Pastor
Reverend J. Lowell Harrup is currently the pastor of Northland Cathedral in Kansas City, Missouri. Prior to his present place of ministry, he pastored Christian Center in Brussels, Belgium from 1979-1989. Before going to Brussels, he pastored for thirteen years in Alexandria, Virginia, near Washington D.C. He is a graduate of Southeastern College of the Assemblies of God in Lakeland, Florida.
Reverend Harrup has had an extensive preaching ministry in family camps, ministers’ meetings, and leadership seminars. He has also ministered to young people in secondary and university schools. He has also served on several councils, and boards, as presbyter, and is currently a general presbyter from the N. Missouri District.
He and his wife, Carol, have been married for 44 years; they have 4 children and 9 grandchildren.

Pastor Ron Steen has served as Minister of Music at Northland Cathedral Assembly of God for thirty years where he oversees the ministries of music and drama, and actively plans and leads worship. In 1978, Mr. Steen founded the Northland Cathedral School of Music.
A native of Texas, Mr. Steen’s undergraduate and postgraduate work includes Stephen F. Austin State University, Central Missouri State University, and the Conservatory of Music at UMKC. He has studied conducting with Eph Ehly, Howard Swan and Weston Noble, and piano with Kenneth Marchant, Joanne Baker, Richard Smith and Stanislav Ioudenitch.
Ron has been married to his lovely wife Cindy for 25 years, and has one daughter.

Assistant Pastor Nathan Scott accepted Jesus as Savior at Northland Cathedral in 1981.
Soon after he met his wife Shari, together they have four children, three sons and a daughter, and have been in ministry their entire married life.
In his 16 plus years at NC, Nathan has provided leadership to nearly every area of ministry, and is currently responsible for the adult Singles ministry as well as counseling and 'other duties as assigned'.

Pastor Paul and and his wife, Eileen, became part of Northland Cathedral in 1998 after 29 years of coaching high school and college football.
Paul then pastored for 11 years in Illinois, and served as the National Men’s Ministries Director for the Assemblies of God for 8 years. In 2005, he became pastor of the Seniors and Men’s Ministries at Northland Cathedral.
Paul and Eileen have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren in college.

Perry Fong, Young Adult Pastor Young Adult Ministries - "FishHouse" (Post High School through Young Adult)
Pastor Perry Fong is very passionate about reaching out to this generation in Kansas City and around the world.
Since 1992, Perry has been serving the Lord at the Springfield Chinese Church reaching out to the young adults and college students. In 1997, Perry was on staff at Berean University (Assemblies of God), integrating their distant learning courses with the Internet. During that time, he started different cell groups that reached out to the college students and local restaurant workers.
Before coming to Northland, he was appointed as the Technology Director for the Chinese Christian Online Education Network (www.CCOEN.org) and Network211 (www.network211.com ).
Perry and Grace have three lovely Children, Aki (10), Joshua (8), and Shun-kin Daniyyel (6 month).

Jason Goss, Student Pastor Student Ministries - "Exit" (Grades 7th through 12th)
Pastor Jason (PJ) graduated from Central Bible College in 1998 with a BA in Church Communications (Drama / TV / Radio). Shortly after graduating from CBC he became the Media Pastor at Evangel Christian Center in Albuquerque, NM. After a little over a year Jason felt God' leading into working with students.
PJ became the Student Ministry Pastor at Faith Assembly in North Fort Myers, FL where he served for 8.5 years. PJ then came to Northland Cathedral in April of 2008.
He has been married to his wife Chase for 11 years, and has 4 kids (2 boys / 2 girls), 2 dogs (black & chocolate labs), and a ball python (snake).

Rich Vinson, Children's Pastor Children's Ministries - "KidsZone" (Birth through 6th Grade)
Pastor Richard Vinson is the children’s pastor at Northland Cathedral. His desire is teaching to empower generation after generation of children to know God in word and spirit. To reach out and come alongside parents in raising their children in today’s world.
He met and married his wife, Tracey, at Northland Cathedral. A year later they moved to Boston where he received his Master of Divinity from Gordon Conwell Theological seminary. He was as an intern and Children’s Pastor at Calvary Christian Center, Boston. Prior to coming to Northland Cathedral he was the Children’s Pastor at Meadowbrook Community Church in Champaign, Illinois.
Before full time ministry he earned a B.B.A. in Accounting from Evangel University and worked for Coopers & Lybrand and PriceWaterhouseCoopers public accounting firms.
He and his wife, Tracey, have been married 11 years and have a daughter and a son.
