A variety of sports opportunities are available at Northland Cathedral.  They include:

Basketball, Fishing Derby, Golf Tournament, Softball, Tae Kwon Do, Volleyball.

Men's Basketball League

Men play on Monday night in the Family Life Center from 6:30-9:00 pm. There are several leagues during the year. The Fall 2010 League begins November 1.

Co-Ed Volleyball

Co-ed volleyball is played on Tuesdays during the open gym time from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. Come be part of the fellowship and fun.

Golf Tournament

2010 Tournament is August 31, 2010.

A golf tournament is held once each year under the sponsorship of Men's Ministries. These tournaments are open to men and women. The tournament has grown to over 100 participants.
We play 18 holes, receive a cart, a great lunch, and a goody bag which contains various promotional items. Awards and prizes include cash, gift certificates, golf bags, golf clubs, etc. These tournaments are held at various golf courses around the Kansas City area.

Open Gym Nights

Open Gym basketball nights are on Mondays from 6:30-9:00 pm when a league is not playing. Open Gym co-ed volleyball night is Tuesday night from 6:30-9:00 pm. Open Gym is held in the Family Life Center.

Softball

Registration takes place in the spring. 

Men's and Co-ed softball teams play every spring as part of the Metro North Christian Softball League. These games are played at various churches throughout the Metro North area.

Tae Kwon Do

Weekly classes every Thursday night at 6:30 pm in the Lower Level. Instructor: Lynn Gant

Fishing

Men's Ministries sponsors an annual Crappie Fishing Tournament. The tournament is held at Smithville Lake in the fall.
