Women are living in a time of unprecedented change. Our roles are being questioned, redefined, and turned upside down! Where do we go for answers? Women’s Ministries seeks to teach and encourage our women to live by a Biblical value system, to minister to those who are in need, and to reach out to those seeking answers. We do this through Bible Studies, Support Groups, and Service involvement.

Morning Edition Bible Study

A weekly study on Thursdays at 10:00 am that meets in the fall, winter, and spring. Childcare is provided. Teacher: Carol Harrup

Evening Edition Bible Study

A weekly study on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm. Topics vary from season to season.

A ministry to home and foreign missionaries designed to encourage, support, and raise funds.

Missions dessert

Join us for a wonderful time of fellowship, food, and renewing our missions vision. This event is planned in conjunction with our annual Missions Festival.

Prayer Chain

This is a ministry to those in urgent need of prayer through a telephone prayer chain.

Groups

moms connection 

Mom's Connection is a group of moms of all ages that come together on the second Tuesday of every month to chat, eat, learn from each other, and gain biblical knowledge to help through this journey of motherhood.  Our theme for the SY2009-10 is 'Taking Care of Your HOME (Health, Offspring, Marriage, Eternity).' Childcare is provided.

New baby Tea

This is a "get acquainted" time for mothers of new babies.  These are scheduled quarterly.

Moms Night Out

Get away from your routine and join us for a night of fun, fellowship and inspiration. Coordinator: Tawnya Harris

Mentoring

Women Mentoring Women is a one on one mentoring ministry for women of all ages, all walks of life, and all stages of your Christian walk. These relationships help develop opportunities for new friendships and experiences, and renewed spirits.

Holiday Bazaar

It is the time of year when we are gearing up for our annual Holiday Bazaar. We are looking for anyone who is "crafty" and is interested in renting a booth to sell their wares. Also, we need people who would like to donate handmade items to the Moms Connection booth or would like to assist with the Women's Ministries' booth featuring baked goods, dry mixes, etc. Please contact or call her at 816.468.1499.  Please visit our Holiday Bazaar page for further information and for copies of this year's contracts.

Women's breakfast

An annual event designed for renewal, encouragement, outreach and fellowship. Dynamic speakers, worship, skits, and testimonies combine to make this an incredible event. The 2010 breakfast takes places on Saturday, April 24 at 9:30 am.
