Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
— Colossians 3:16

Music is an integral part of worship. The dedicated singers, instrumentalists, dramatists and technicians of the Fine Arts Department regularly commit themselves to worship the Lord "in Spirit and in Truth." Our joy is enhanced by helping to lead others in experiencing God through genuine worship.

Our styles vary from contemporary to classical and our personnel from the professional to the dedicated amateur. There is always a place for the person who sincerely wishes to minister through the art with which God has gifted them. It would be a joy to share this ministry with you. For information on any of these opportunities for ministry, contact our Minister of Fine Arts and Associate Pastor, Ron Steen.

The primary adult choral ensemble of Northland Cathedral, the Cathedral Choir assists in leading worship in the 9:15 Sunday morning services, as well as special presentations throughout the year including Easter, Christmas, Patriotic Sunday, Classics Concert and more! Various solo and ensemble opportunities are available to members through audition.

The Cathedral Choir is open to High School seniors through adult.

The Cathedral Orchestra is the central instrumental music ministry of the Church. The Orchestra not only provides instrumental support to our worship services, but functions as an independent musical ministry group.

Smaller instrumental ensembles and soloists are frequently drawn from Orchestra personnel to provide music for many other church functions such as weddings and banquets. The Orchestra is open to instrumentalists ages High School and up.

Our Worship Teams are made up of small groups of select vocalists and worship bands. Using the best of contemporary worship music combined with modern settings of classic hymns and praise choruses, our Praise Teams lead worship at the morning Celebration Service and Sunday night services.

If you have a heart for worship and are gifted in this area we have an exciting opportunity for you! There will be auditions and interviews for all who are interested in serving on the worship team band as an instrumentalist or vocalist.
